Prayer for Phelps CO and surrounding CO

Pray for wisdom and protection for the police officers, judges, wardens, etc. as they work to clear this area of drugs. Pray that justice would be upheld and that other suspects might be quickly found without incident. 
 
Pray for those arrested (96+)that God would use their arrest to find Christ and that they would be set free.  
 
Pray for the Jail ministries who minister in the jail that they would have opportunities to share Christ and reach hearts. 
 
Pray for the families of those arrested, especially the many children who were put in the foster care system as a result of this arrest.  
 
Pray for the foster families and social workers who are carrying a heavier load at this time, that they would receive the support and strength to care for these children. 
 
Pray that the Lord would set people free of addictions in this area. For REVIVAL! Pray for the many churches and groups who are working to help those who struggle with addictions.

Please pray for the Spiritual State of the Union Tour though Missouri on Prayer Force One. We will be in Rolla on Aug. 24th at noon at the Chamber office. Pray that God will unite the believers, that many will turn out and pray for our nation! Also please pray for the Capitol Christian Festival on Aug. 29 and plan to come and pray with other Missouri citizens for our nation.

Please be praying for the churches that are taking on a day or a half day to pray for Rolla. Pray that the Holy Spirit will move on hearts to pray and lead them how to pray. God is doing amazing things!

 

Hate crime bill

Please continue to pray regarding the hate crime bill. The House of Representatives passed the Hate Crimes Bill 249-175. It is now in the Senate. For more information check the family research council website at www.stophatecrime.com  
 

 

National Day of Prayer

Please pray for this town!!!...and all the Phelps County area. Pray for those unemployed, like me, that we find jobs and can live in the place we love and want to raise our children here. Pray for the city and county administrators to do their jobs to the best of their ability. Pray for those hungry in the area that they are fed and we find better ways to help them. Pray for the churches that they get busy and help meet the needs of people.  
...the list goes on. My point is...yes, pray for the nation, but pray for your own people!!! Please. Thank you and God bless you all.

Jon and Carla Reinagel are leaving for two years to be missionaries in Mozambique. They are both graduates of MS&T. They will be working among some of the poorest people in Africa and would covet your prayers. Please pray for their health, ease of travel, and favor with the government regarding visas.
